Niko Springer faces a challenge in the first round with opponent Dirk van Duijvenbode. However, the “Meenzer Bub” goes into the tournament with momentum.
At the Dutch Darts Championship last weekend, Springer narrowly missed his first title on the European Tour when he sensationally reached the final and was only beaten by Jonny Clayton.
Martin Schindler is also participating in the European Darts Open. As a seeded player, he will not enter the tournament until Saturday.
It is already clear that “The Wall” will also meet a compatriot. The winner of the Pietreczko/Bohrmann match will challenge the German number one in the second round.
