In Hildesheim, the second event of the PDC Europe Next Gen 2026 is taking place. After a turbulent start with a tournament format change and Klose’s triumph, attention now turns to the next attempt in the new mode.
After a chaotic start to the season, the PDC Europe Next Gen is heading into round two today in Hildesheim (from 2:30 PM LIVE on SPORT1 ). At the opening event, the planned league mode had to be canceled at short notice, and instead, a large single-elimination tournament was played. Daniel Klose made the best use of the circumstances and secured the title confidently late in the evening.
Now, on the second day of the tournament, the originally planned schedule is to be implemented. The organizers want to re-implement the league mode after technical problems on the previous day caused hours of delays. For many players, it is therefore not only a sporting but also an organizational restart.
