The new darts year starts with a bang. At the Darts World Championship, the four semi-finalists are being sought on New Year’s Day.

The most clear-cut match of the day on paper is likely to be the duel between defending champion Littler and Poland’s Krzysztof Ratajski.
To conclude the evening, there will be an exciting match between Luke Humphries and the dark horse Gian van Veen.
