The EuroLeague home games of Turkish defending champion Fenerbahce Istanbul against the Israeli basketball teams Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv will be held in the SAP Garden in Munich. The club announced this on Thursday. The reason for moving the games on November 11 and 13 to Germany are security measures imposed by Turkish authorities.
Normally, Fenerbahce plays its home games in the Ülker Hall in Istanbul. The SAP Garden is the home of German champion Bayern Munich, which plays there on November 12 against FC Barcelona. Fenerbahce had played the home games against Hapoel and Maccabi in Lithuania in 2024.
