Burnley FC surprisingly failed against third-tier club Mansfield Town in the FA Cup. The second-to-last-placed team in the Premier League lost the Round of 32 match against the underdog in their own stadium with a score of 1:2 (1:0).
For the first time since February 1969, the current 12th-placed team in League One achieved an FA Cup victory against a first-division club.
