“In great constitution”: Havertz before return

Arsenal FC has left the Champions League. Coach Mikel Arteta is therefore kinked.

Arsenal’s German international Kai Havertz could return to Newcastle on Sunday after a long injury break.

National player Kai Havertz is about the DFB selection before his comeback before the Nations League final. “He is in great constitution,” said team manager Mikel Areta from FC Arsenal about his protégé.

Whether he will really use it on Sunday (5.30 p.m.) in the Premier League game against Newcastle United, he will only decide on Saturday, the Spaniard added: “It depends on the medical department and how Kai feels.”

Havertz: Long break because of thigh injury

Havertz suffered a thigh injury in February and therefore missed 20 competitive games. Most recently, he had emphasized in the kicker that he hoped for a “timely” return. “It would be unprofessional to say an exact date,” said the 25-year-old: “So far, my recovery has been going according to plan.”

Julian Nagelsmann also likes that. With a view to the tournament in the Nations League, the national coach hopes for the attacker with the semi -finals with the semi -finals on June 4 in Munich against Portugal and the final June 8th.
