Darts world champion Luke Littler has taken aim at his German competitor Martin Schindler on social media. The 18-year-old responded to an interview in which Schindler had mentioned Littler.

Darts: This is why Littler is needing Schindler

The German number 1 had spoken about his victory against William O’Connor in an interview with DartsNews and only mentioned Littler in passing.

“He was relentless, he was very strong in scoring with 180s and 140s,” Schindler said about O’Connor: “But then he missed a few chances and I knew he wouldn’t maintain that level – not even Luke Littler can do that – and he didn’t.”

The German had fallen behind 1:4 against O’Connor before fighting his way back into the match and winning 6:4.
