The captain of the national team wins with Detroit in Portland, leader Cleveland continues his series.

Basketball world champion Dennis Schröder found the Detroit Piston’s back to the road to success after two defeats in the NBA. The Motorcity franchise won 119: 112 at the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night.

The captain of the German national team came to twelve points as well as four assists and rebounds. The best thrower of his team was Cade Cunningham with 28 points, for Portland, Sternee Simons scored 34 points. Detroit thus continues to be sixth in the Eastern Conference, the Trail Blazers are twelfth in the west.

Cleveland not to stop

League leader Cleveland Cavaliers continued his winning streak. The 112: 100 at the Milwaukee Bucks was already the 14th success one after the other. The CAVS are only the second team in NBA history, which in such a series always came to at least 110 points. So far, only the Boston Celtics had succeeded on the way to the title in 1986.

The best thrower on Cleveland was Max Strus with 17 points. Milwaukees top star Giannis Antetocounmpo got 30 points and, with a total of 20,077 points, moved to 50th place on the “eternal” list of scorer.
