Ski jumping star Markus Eisenbichler celebrates a conciliatory end of his long career. The 33-year-old secures the German team a podium with his last jump. After that it becomes emotional.
The farewell for Markus Eisenbichler could hardly have been much nicer. During the last jumping of his career, the six -time world champion showed two strong jumps and ended up in second place with the German team while ski flying in Planica.
In his last competition, Eisenbichler was allowed to start the DSV team as the final jumper and knew how to convince in an unfamiliar role. With a great jump to 223.5 meters, he made the podium in the last jump of his career. The victory went to Austria.

Eisenbichler won numerous gold medals

He also jumped strongly during the four -hill tour in 2019 and became second behind the outstanding Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi, who won all four jumps in the overall ranking.
