Traditional club in sight: Juventus is in danger of trouble!

Juventus Turin and Kenan Yildiz are apparently in trouble

UEFA has apparently initiated a formal investigation procedure against the top Italian club Juventus Turin. The reason for this is alleged violations of the Financial Fair Play regulations.

Juventus Turin has apparently once again come under UEFA’s scrutiny. The reason for this is identified irregularities in recent financial reports. The continental association has “initiated an official investigation against the club,” the club itself announced.

Central is the question of whether the Italian top club has violated the principle of transparency in revenues and expenditures. Depending on the outcome of the review, several scenarios therefore threaten the Turin team.

One possible measure would be fine. In a more severe case, which is however less likely, “sanctions such as exclusion from European cup competitions” would be conceivable. The ongoing investigations are not expected to affect match operations.

Juventus has not had problems with UEFA for the first time

With the announcement of the review, a process now comes to the forefront. UEFA has confirmed that the “final decision will be announced in spring 2026”. For Juventus, it is not the first time that UEFA has contacted them regarding financial irregularities. In 2023, the club was excluded from the Conference League for one season.

Additionally, the club received a fine of 20 million euros, ten million of which were suspended provided that the annual financial statements for the fiscal years 2023, 2024 and 2025 meet the requirements.

According to UEFA’s Financial Control Body, Juventus has violated the association’s regulations on club licensing and financial fair play. The Turin team announced that they continue to consider the “alleged violations” as unfounded, but will refrain from appealing.
