Luke Littler continues his impressive run at the Players Championship Finals, defeating Chris Dobey and moving closer to the title. He will face Gerwyn Price, who defeated Schindler, in the semi-finals.
Luke Littler is on track to win the Players Championship Finals for the first time. The new world number one defeated his compatriot Chris Dobey 10-5 in legs in the quarter-finals on Sunday afternoon.
“The Nuke” once again played a three-dart average of over 100 points with 107.88 points – he has achieved this in every game of the tournament so far. Dobey was able to keep up well with the scoring and averaged 104.57 points per visit.

Littler then showed his full quality on the doubles and converted almost every second attempt (47.62 percent). “Hollywood”, on the other hand, only hit 31.25 percent of his throws at the doubles – not enough to beat the currently best player in the world.
Darts: Littler unstoppable
The game was still balanced until the score of 3:3. But then Littler picked up the pace, won five legs in a row and made it 8:3. Dobey couldn’t make up this deficit.
Dobey almost caused an absolute highlight: In the fifth leg of the game, the Englishman only needed the double 18 for a 9-darter after eight perfect darts (180 points, 174 points, triple-19, triple-18). But Dobey missed clearly and even put the last dart almost into the triple field.
Littler challenges against Price
In the semi-finals, Littler will now face Gerwyn Price. The Welshman, who had previously eliminated Martin Schindler, defeated Northern Irishman Daryl Gurney 10-6 in legs.
In the third quarter-final of the day, Nathan Aspinall prevailed against Josh Rock 10-8 in legs. The last semi-final ticket will be played between Jermaine Wattimena and James Wade.
