At the Austrian Darts Open, Ricardo “Pikachu” Pietreczko confidently prevails against an Englishman.
Ricardo “Pikachu” Pietreczko mastered the first round of Austrian Darts Open in Graz with a convincing 6: 3 victory against the Englishman Tom Bissell. The German Dartprofi showed a solid performance in the Styria hall on Friday afternoon and was able to prevail against his opponent with an average of 89.58.
Bissell, who in the meantime lifted a 180, did not find the necessary consistency to seriously endanger Pietreczko. With an average of 87.81, the Englishman remained slightly behind the German achievements and ultimately had to give up.

German duel on the opening day
For German fans, another highlight is on the program on the opening day. On Friday evening there is a purely German duel between Lukas Little and Niko Springer (from 7 p.m. in the live ticker). Three German participants are used at the fifth event of the European Darts Tour 2025.
The already set Martin Schindler only intervenes on Saturday in the second round. The German number one enjoys a free -wing in the first round as a placed player and is now waiting for his opponent.
For Pietreczko, after his successful start, it is now a matter of taking his impetus to the next round. The tournament will continue on Saturday with the second round, where the German has to go against the 10th of the PDC Order of Merit, Chris Dobey.
